PROGRAM COURSE
Week 1 - Business Organization
Build your Business Records Binder to keep important documents in one place. Learn the importance of keeping clean and separate personal and business financial records. Have everything in order and ready to meet with funders.
Week 2 - High level overview of business financials
Understanding the importance of good bookkeeping, purpose of income statements, balance sheets and cashflow statements. Begin to create your income and expense worksheet.
Week 3 - Personal & business finance
High level overview of the importance of having good personal finances, and the role it plays in building and financing a business. Receive resources on getting out of debt and monitoring credit scores.

ABOUT THE MBDA CAPITAL READINESS PROGRAM
The Capital Readiness Program is a $125 million technical assistance program to help underserved entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses. Awardees will operate business incubators or accelerators designed to prepare underserved entrepreneurs to secure capital from the historic $10 billion State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) and other capital sources.
